IMS System 100 – Model 123 Sequential Voltage Source – Full DIY Kit

The Sequential Voltage Source can produce voltage sequences between 2 and 8 steps long at each of its three outputs. The sequencer is advanced by applying a pulse, usually from a Model 140 pulse generator.

There are LEDs to show which step is active.  This module may be used to simultaneously program pitch, amplitude, and duration of single or repetitive sequences of notes.

FAQs:

  • What size of jacks are used? – 3.5mm (Thonkiconn) jack sockets for audio, banana for control voltage.
  • Are these kits difficult to solder? – They are not! 99% of soldering is through-hole. Some of the modules have a couple of SMD capacitors
  • Which power supply should I get? – Busboards are availabe here. IMS recommend using the Meanwell RT-65C. Info on wiring is HERE
