The Lil’ Erebus is an analog paraphonic Eurorack full synth voice based on the original Dreadbox Erebus.
The module features two oscillators with individual level and tune controls which you can choose to pitch either individually or simultaneously. The oscillators are then routed to a 2-pole low pass filter before reaching the VCA – which can be externally triggered if desired. The filter features CV input for cutoff control which is also hardwired to the internal 3 segment envelope generator. The VCF has it’s own audio input so that external signals can be patched in, and the envelope output can also be tapped for other duties. Additionally the Lil’ Erebus has it’s own voltage controlled LFO with dedicated Triangle & Square wave outputs and finally there is a built in Echo featuring feedback control and VC over echo time.
Lil’ Erebus also has a very simple MIDI to CV convertor featuring:
- MIDI notes to CV (1v/oct – 5 octaves range from 0V to 5V)
- MIDI trigger to gate (0V – 5V pulse)
- Channels from OMNI up to 7
- Can be used as a Duophonic or Monophonic device
- Can be polychained up to 2 Lil’ Erebus
- See the user manual for more details
