Tempograf is a 4HP clocking module derived from Frequency Central’s own popular Chronograf module. The Tempograf takes some of the key features of Chronograf and presents them in a small form, and strips out some of the more advanced features. The result is a handy little master clock module which is useful as a controller for sequencing modules such as Little Melody and High Towers.
Tempograf can be started by using the Start button (indicated by a triangle), or by double tapping the Tap button, in which case Tempograf will run at the tempo of your taps. Tempgraf can be stopped by pressing the Stop button (indicated by a square). The Tempo knob sets the master tempo, which can be over-ridden by the Tap feature.
Tempograf has 2 identical Clock outputs, useful for spreading clocks to multiple destinations. Additionally, there is a Div. output, which sends out divisions of the master clock /1, /2, /4, /8, /16, /32, /64, /128, together with the associated Division knob. Div. out can also be used as a reset for devices which require reset on start, usually by setting the Division knob to /128. Tempograf’s Reset output sends out a reset pulse whenever Stop is pressed.
